Skeletons dressed in white clappers, a form of song and dance (Shirabyoshi) that originated in the late Heian period and spread through the Kamakura period, are embroidered with higanbana (cluster amaryllis) flowers. This item has a mysterious charm that is spine-tinglingly scary but also somehow graceful. The red embroidery thread adds a mysterious color to the overall design.
The material is 100% rayon satin fabric on both the front and back sides.
The ribs on the collar, cuffs, and hem are made of a wool/acrylic blend.
The color of the body is black.
