The Level 7 jacket is made of Thinsulate, a high-performance padding material that is both thin and warm, and is coldproof, windproof, and water-repellent. Lighter and thinner than conventional military Level 7 jackets, it can be worn stylishly in town. The cuffs are elasticized for a close fit and can be adjusted with Velcro, preventing outside air from entering through the cuffs. When the hood is not needed, it can be rolled up and stored inside the collar.
