This overcoat was adopted by the U.S. Army (U.S. ARMY) in 1951. It is made wide and loose so that it can be worn over weapons and other equipment.

It is said to be the prototype of the mod parka and mod coat, and its official name is "PARKA SHELL M-1951." It is a '51 model of the extreme cold-weather clothing adopted by the U.S. Army ground forces in the 1950s.

The hood has a drawcord with a leather stopper, and the front part opens and closes with a zipper and snap buttons made by "YKK". Drawcords are also built in at the waist and hem, allowing you to enjoy the change in silhouette.

And the hem part of the back body, the biggest feature of M-51 Parker, is designed with a "fish tail" and can be stored by snap buttons.

In addition, the boa liner can be removed, and it is active in a wide range of seasons such as spring, fall, and winter depending on the combination. This is a versatile outerwear that is recommended not only for everyday casual style, but also as outerwear for commuting to work.

Since it is a reproduction of the old military size, it is made considerably larger than the indicated size.
